Farming What-Where Farming Spots Listed (World of Warcraft pvp)

There are people who use professions to make their money. They run around picking flowers, or hitting rocks, or making funky items to sell. Now, honestly, i’m not one of those people, heh.

What’s farming?
When i’m strapped for cash, I farm. Farm, farm, farm. As in, I kill mobs repeatedly. Farming is a consistent thing, you must be consistent with your kills, spend as little downtime as possible, and you want to kill every desired mob you come across.

Why farm?
First of all, there’s no real expense. Apart from buying food/drink, or repairing your gear once every few hours, you’re making pure profit. You can get a lot of money out of manufacturing professions, but leveling these means they become a money sink, and unless you put in the time and money to grab those rare recipes that people REALLY want, you’re going to be spending more than you’ll be making. Farming gets you pure profit, and depending on your luck, you can make more selling a single drop than spending a week making / gathering stuff. You get money, greens, blues, sometimes phat epixx, and all you have to do is going around killing stuff. That’s farming.

Good farming, on the other hand, is a combination of things.

-Management of downtime – You want to stay sitting for the least amount of time possible by using bandages, or using conjured mage water instead of the crappy vendor water. If you’re a caster, you want a fair bit of spirit gear (which you’ll already have probably) and mana regen gear (mp/5). It might not seem like much, but it really helps in the long run.

-Consistent kills – If I run to my desired phat farming zone, i kill two mobs, I get up, get a drink, flip on the tv, kill more mobs, alt-tab to talk on msn, open up torrents, watch tv a bit more, and kill a couple more mobs, that’s farming. Good farming, is when you get on, maybe flip on music, and just kill mobs. Kill, kill, kill. Don’t stop. It can get boring, but the profit is usually worth it.

-Complimentary professions – Gathering professions mixed with farming can be a very useful moneymaking tool indeed. If I grind on beasts, then skinning would double my profit intake. If I had herbalism, then i’d make more money from picking up those random flowers you come across. If you have enchanting, you can pick up a crappy level 52 green that vendors for 80s, DE it, and get a shard worth 6g.

Got all that? Good. Let’s go farmz0rs.

If you’re willing to farm, then i’d assume you’re level 60 and you have half-decent gear (or you’re a beast mastery hunter :P )

And, BE PERSISTENT! If you spend 20 minutes farming, then stop because you haven’t got anything, THAT’S NORMAL! Just keep farming. You only get out what you put in. Try a day of farming. You’re guaranteed to get something of value.

For maximum phat pharming speed, you should be farming mobs 1-2 levels below you, or less.

Farming spots listed:

Winterspring, lake of Kel’Theril, Southwest of everlook.
53,42
Mob levels – 54-56 (I think)
You’ll be farming ghosts here. This place is kickass – sometimes farmed heavily, other times not as much. The ghosts are weak, they die easily, they drop 2-8s a kill, drop funky greens and blues, and random chests spawn around here. One of my favourites.

Also, weekly, Princess Tempestria and her water elemental bodyguards spawn all over the house.
She’s a 60 elite, her 3 bodyguards are 57 non-elites, and there are other 58 mobs all over the place. If she spawns, try to grab all the local horde/alliance in the area, group up, and kill her! She drops kickass blue BOEs, and Ace of elementals, which sells for 200G.

Winterspring, Darkwhisper Gorge, directly south of Everlook at the bottom of this map.
60,56
Mob levels – 60 elites.
Ok. These mobs here, I wouldn’t really call farmable. However, they do drop high-value items, and if you have good friends, 3-4 of you could take one of these. The demons here hit like trucks, crit like planes. But, they have an abnormally high drop rate to drop Eye Of Shadow, the first item priests need for their epic staff quest. It can sell for 200g+. They can drop 2-30s a kill, runecloth, greens, blues, and epics. But they hit hard. And DO NOT try to solo these. Unless you’re a beast mastery hunter =p.

Felwood, Feral Scar Vale, North-North-East of the horde camp (37,44)
Mob levels – 49-51
You’re going to be farming bears here. Yes, there are only 12-15 of them at any given time, and you can kill them faster than they spawn, but that’s usually a good thing. Now, they don’t drop money, but they drop items worth money.
They drop:
-large bear bones (15s)
-bear jaws (9s)
-savage bear claws (6s)
-bear flanks (6s)
etc. Now, i’m just making guesses, since I don’t really remember, but they can easily drop 1-3 pieces of vendor fodder at a time.
You can kill these guys very fast. and you can skin them for rugged leather, which sells for, what, 1.5-3g a stack? That doubles your money intake. If you kill them fast (ten seconds time to kill), and skin them, and maybe grab the Arthas’ tears spawns around there, you can very well make 30g+ an hour. Just be consistent. And the beautiful thing is, they’re never farmed, at least on my server =p

Felwood, Those satyr mobs, All the way north in felwood
42,16
Mob levels – 51-53
These demon satyrs are kickass. They have good world drops, they drop 2-8s a kill, they die stupidly easy, they drop heaps of runecloth, sometimes felcloth (one piece goes for 1-3g), and they spawn fast. Problem? People farm them. Farm at off-peak hours though, and you’ve got yourself some money intake there.

Western plaguelands, felstone field, first field to your left out of the Bulwark.
36,57
Mob levels – 50-53
Yarr, there’s heaps of undead here. Casters and melee mobs. The thing I love about these guys is that they almost always drop runecloth, which sells for a nice bonus per stack. Good silver, consistent respawn rates, but sometimes farmed. Give them a go, they’re awesome, especially if you mow them down fast.

Azshara, south-west corner of the map, entrance to zone, left from the path. Yep, my memory sucks.
16,70
Mob levels – 44-47
Highborne ghosts here. They drop insaneeee mageweave, great green droprates, there’s a random chest, they’re casters so they die easily, they have low hp, and 60s can farm them with little to no downtime. Rarely farmed, great for grinding too.

Tanaris, Southsea pirates, East of the zone along the beach after going through a small tunne l – Lost Rigger Cove
72,47
Mob levels – 43-45
Suprisingly, these guys are actually good for farming. 1-6s a kill. They also drop random junkboxes which can have funky stuff in them, they have a high rate (compared to other random mobs) to drop blues and epix, they drop silk – mageweave, and they’re easy to farm. But, sometimes they’re camped, they’re all melee and some disarm, but other than that you should take a look at this spot.
[edit]Some are ranged, not all are melee. Thanks yensid!

Eastern plaguelands, Mossflayer zombies around that tomb-place, located south-west of the map along the path
Location clarified – 27,85 – The Undercroft
Mob levels – 54-56 (?)
These guys are funky to farm. They have a good world drop rate, they drop 3-8s a kill, random junkboxes, runecloth, they die easily, respawn quickly, and nobody farms them. Except for me =)

Eastern plaguelands, Bats, all over the place
Located all over EPL, just make a circuit around the whole zone
Originally, I didn’t think of these bats as a subject for farming. But spending an hour on them proved otherwise.
I got bat pelts, fangs, claws, all which vendored extremely well, almost better than the bears listed above. They also drop Evil bat eyes, which, during the faire, can sell for 1-2g a PIECE. And, if so inclined, you can vendor them for a hefty profit. Just a suggestion.

Winterspring, Ice Thistle Hills, Yetis
67,43
Mob levels – 56-59
These yetis are great for farming. Reasons? Well, they’re not the weakest mobs around, but the good thing about these fellas is because they’re technically beasts, you can skin them for rugged, which is great money. Yet they still drop coin, and phat blues, and epix! I’d have to rate this spot as one of my favourites. It’s a great spot, because they drop coin, items, you can skin them, AND they drop vendor fodder (I think). enjoy!

Western Plaguelands, Hearthglen
Co-ords coming soon =p
Hearthglen in WPL is a wonderful place. There are 53-56 elites littered all over the place, some are casters and most are solo-friendly. Me, as a 60 shaman, can take them easy as pie. They drop 5-30s a kill, and have a very high dropchance of good items. Sometimes farmed, otherwise empty =)

ALSO: On the road to hearthglen, to your right, you’ll pass a tower. Inside that tower are 7 (?) scarlet spellbinders. These are the only mobs in the game that have a chance to drop Enchant: Crusader. This sells for 150G+, and is usually in high demand (these mobs are 53-55 non-elites).
So, basically, go in there, kill all 7 (some on the roof), go afk for 10 minutes, come back, continue.
BE WARNED! These guys are usually farmed, plenty. Get on at non-peak times if you can for max farming potential.
(credit goes to a friend for this)

Of course, these spots were off the top of my head (not anymore), i’ll shove more additions in soon enough and confirm those locations and statistics. There are plenty other farmable spots, but these particularly are my personal favourites, and each have helped me with my fair intake of gold.

Temple Of Ahn’Qiraj A Guide For AQ40. Version 0.1 (Leeroy jenkins World of Warcraft)

Preparation
The Temple of Ahn’Qiraj is more scaling in difficulty than other instance. The first few bosses are on par with the harder bosses in Molten Core and the last bosses are harder than anything you find in Blackwing Lair.
Nature resistance is particularly important in this instance for many bosses. Equipment is important, but many encounters will be possible to beat with sheer wits and strategy. Nature Protection potions are clearly of use here.

Getting to the Instance Portal
There is no key required to enter the Ahn’Qiraj temple instance, nor is there any trash outside of it. Upon going through the Scarab Wall gate in southern Silithus, follow the path to the right to the instance portal.

Loot-quest System
The Temple of Ahn’Qiraj uses a Loot-quest system like Zul’Gurub or the Ruins of Ahn’Qiraj.
Players must collect ten scarab items of a certain type, two stone idols of a certain type, and a single Qiraji item. When a player has the appropriate collection for a particular item and a certain level of reputation with Cenarion Hold, they can turn them in for the item.

The loot in AQ40 comes from:
· killing bosses
· killing mobs
· quest rewards. Good reputation with Brood of Nozdormu is required to complete these quests, in much the same way as Zandalar Tribe reputation is required for Zul’Gurub quest rewards. It’s possible to access these quest NPC after having killed the Prophet Skeram

Scourge Invasion FAQ (World of Warcraft rouge)

Q: Where is the Web Site containing all the Blizzard released information?

A: http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/events/scourgeinvasion/

Q: How long will it last?

A: Unknown for now. The rumors range from a month to until Kel’thuzad is killed to until you defeat ALL of the Necropolises. It will last much, much longer then the 16 hour war with the Ahn’qiraj though.

However, it is rumored now that it may be an Annual.

Like Christmas. Only much more grisly.

And the Scourge don’t sing songs about it… yet.

Q: How is it started?

A: Still unknown. The AQ War Effort doesn’t start until the Emissary is killed. This might trigger the first time Baron Rivendare is killed on a new server. That is the best guess anyway. Or perhaps the first time someone completes the ‘Above and Beyond’ quest which is to kill Rivendare and take his head to the Argent Dawn for a reward.

Q: What happens?

A: During the invasion, multiple events occur.
First, outside of every major city, there are glowing points where low level undead spawn(9-11). These drop Dim Necrotic Runes that can be turned into a quest giver for faction once.
Secondly, in Azshara, Winterspring, Tanaris, Eastern Plague Lands, The Blasted Lands, and the Burning Steppes there are massive invasions of Level 59-60 undead. These invasions occur at specific sites gathered around ‘Necrotic Crystals’. Undead spawn continuously from these points and wander around, killing local wildlife in one shot. Also, flying necropolis send bolts of energy to and from each stone, so it is easy to find them if you find the hovering Necropolis and follow the bolt of energy that shoots out every 30 seconds or so.

Killing these undead around the crystals results in a bolt of damaging energy being sent back to the crystal. You have to kill about 100, if not more, of the undead to fully destroy it… but with dozens of people working at it, this doesn’t take to long. Maybe 20 minutes.

When the Necrotic Crystal is ‘destroyed’, it is replaced by a ‘Damaged Necrotic Crystal’ that four Cultist Engineers appear around and begin to repair. If you leave the Damaged Crystal being repaired by the Cultists alone for a time, it will be restored to the normal Necrotic Crystal and the event starts all over again.

You can disrupt the Cultists by using the Necrotic Runes that drop from the invading undead. Take 8 of the runes and talk to one of them, and use the command given to turn it into a Shadow of Doom. This fight is similar to a Duke fight in Silithus. You need at least a good duo with a good healer to beat these. They spawn and go straight for the person who disrupted them, flagged to that person’s group. It works just like a Duke, Templar, or Prince in that regard.

Major Warning: Only transform ONE AT A TIME. They are monsters when you fight two or more at once. And, like the Dukes, they are unsoloable unless you are either very good or have very good gear. However, most Template characters were and are unable to solo them. Duos are possible with one being healer the other melee/dps/tank or a Paladin or Shaman healtanking.

The dangerous part comes in the adds. You’re almost guaranteed to have at least two level 59-60 adds. So its preferred to have more then one person with you unless you are ahead of the spawn rate.

These Shadows drop the rest of the Undead Slaying Set. Killing all four results in the full destruction of the Necrotic Crystal and an interruption of the event for a time.

There are multiple invasion points scattered across each of the above named zones. Destroying all of them, presumably, destroys one of the Necropolises sent to the area. Another will show up until there are 0 Necropolises left(ask the Argent Dawn Recruiter for more information)

Q: Where do I get Necrotic Runes?

A: They drop from the 59-60 undead mobs that spawn continuously at the invasion points across Azshara, Winterspring, Tanaris, Eastern Plague Lands, The Blasted Lands, and the Burning Steppes. They are fairly common.

Additionally, there is a chance for a Rare/’Silver Dragon’ undead to spawn in place of the normal ones. These have a chance of dropping one of the Undead Slaying pieces and 4 to 6 Necrotic Runes.

Q: Are there quests involving the Invasion?

A: Yes. One at each major city involves gathering Dull Necrotic Runes from the 9-11 Undead outside. Three of them earns silver and faction with the Dawn. This is repeatable once at each major city, but otherwise is not doable multiple times.

One more is at the Argent Dawn Camp in each major city, that sends you to speak to the Argent Recruiter at LHC. Because of the Level 60 XP involved, this rewards some silver. Do it for the silver and faction.

The last two are obtained at Light’s Hope Chapel. They involve killing one Shadow of Doom and gathering 10 Necrotic Runes.

Completing the Shadows of Doom quest gives you the choice of a few of the Consecrated Sharpening Stones or a few of the Blessed Wizard Oil. About 4 gold at 60, too. It and the other will be nice XP for those not yet 60.

Completing the quest to gather 10 Necrotic Runes allows you to turn in Necrotic Runes for the other rewards offered. This one also rewards about 4 gold at 60, too.

Q: Where do I get the full Undead Slaying Sets?

A: Three sources: Shadows of Doom, the ‘Rare’ Undead at the Invasion points, and turning in 30 Necrotic Runes to the Argent Dawn Outfitter in LHC. The first two can drop either part of the set, while the last is the only way to get the gloves.

Mcclark’s Findings:
Bracers: 100% drop chance off of the rare "Bone Witch" Which type of bracers he drops is random (plate, mail, etc)
Gloves: Finish the 10 Necrotic Shards quest from the commander, then talk to the quartermaster and give him 30. You are able to choose which type you want.
Chest: Semi-rare drop off the Shades of Doom
All pieces are BoP and the set bonus for each is a 2% damage bonus against undead(3-piece, no bonus for 1 or 2)

Q: Where do I get the Tabard of the Argent Dawn?

A: Turn in 10 Necrotic Runes to the Argent Dawn Quartermaster in Light’s Hope Chapel after completing the two new quests offered at LHC regarding the killing of a Shadow of Doom and the gathering of 10 Necrotic Runes.

Q: Where do I get the Tabard of the Scarlet Crusade?

A: At present, it is CONFIRMED it was re-added to the random loot table of SM. Further, it is CONFIRMED that it drops from the Goon Squad that comes in to help Herod after he dies. Get ready to get your Scarlet Tabards, folks!

Q: Where are the new Bosses?

A: The new bosses are found in Stratholme, the Scholomance, Dire Maul, the Scarlet Monastery, Shadowfang Keep and the Razorfen Downs.

If there are multiple new bosses in DM and SM for each of the wings, that is unknown. The only known new boss at this time is Scorn in the SM Graveyard. He is a Lich who enters the Graveyard after you kill the Undead Blood Mage in the Crypt.

Leave the crypt after you kill the Blood Mage and you will see Scorn floating towards you down the road. He hits normally for his level(32 Elite), and he has some nasty Frost AE Spells for even level groups trying to tackle him.

The new one in Shadowfang Keep is a Scourge Abomination. His name is Sever, and he is found in the area formerly patrolled only by Ghosts near where the Butcher and the Baron are. There are no prereqs to his appearance. He is level 25.

The new boss for RFD, Lady Falther’ess is found and unbugged! She is a Banshee that spawns from the middle cell in RFD between the Human and the Ogre. You need to kill Amnenar before she can be fought. She is hiding in the possessed body of a human woman that she shucks during the fight.

She drops a nice +10 shadow dmg wand.

She might spawn in if you open the middle Holding Pen between the human who teaches you goldthorn Tea and the small Ogre.

The new boss in DM West is named Revachion! Credit to Nerfed for finding him!

From Nerfed:

Q u o t e:
Revanchion is found in DM West patrolling the hallway after Tendris Warpwood (you don’t have to kill him).

He’s just a big ghost, nothing really special. I thought he was one of the patrols in there until I spotted his name.

He does a frost nova and has frost armor (slows your attack and movement). The strange thing was that he dodged/parried/blocked around 80% of all my attacks. Not sure if it was a bug or not. He hit me on average for 300 damage with 28.3% DR so he’s not exactly a heavy hitter.

He dropped this: http://wow.blupp.net/item.php?id=265406

And he gave 25 AD rep when killed.

The Stratholme Boss, found by Harmonia, is a Lich that patrols around the fountain in the main area next to the small chapel and the Side Gate to Stratholme.

His name is Balzaphon, and he kicks major butt. Serious frostbolt spammer that does a ton of damage. Drops any of three +damage and healing blues, including an amazing staff and a +22 dam necklace called ‘Chains of the Lich’ and TWO! TWO! Corrupter’s Scourgestones.

The Scholo Boss has been found as well.

It is Lord Blackwood, a giant glowing Skeleton with Sword, Shield, and Bow. He has a lot of HP, and does a Smoke Bomb effect to regain range to shoot you.

He appears in the room with the spectral tutors in it, just beyond the room with the Dark Summoners, but only after you summon Kirtonos. If you fail at killing Kirtonos, he still appears.

He’s nifty. Drops a giant glowing 1h sword, his shield, and likely his bow.

The sword has 60 AC, is One Hand, and has +14 stamina on it. Speed: 1.50(!!) Great tanking sword pre-ZG.

Q: Are there new Loading Screens shown for the above named instances?

A: SM, RFD, RFK, and SFK have brand new loading screens! Checking the rest soon. So do other dungeons, it seems, like Blackrock Spire!

Q: Did they improve loot in some of the lower instances like SM?

A: Yes, they did. In addition to the new bosses, some items, like the Hypnotic Blade from Doan… got an upgrade.

The Hypnotic Blade now has +9 Spell Damage and Healing on it.

Any more are as yet unknown.

Q: Are the new Bosses in those instances permanent?

A: Unknown at the present time.

Q: Where do I get the Letters from the Undead?

A: The Letters from the Undead are found on the 59-60 Undead Invasion monsters. Kill them until they drop. There are at least 6 of them, and each leads you to a quest that involves you returning to Light’s Hope Chapel then obtaining the next step of the quest in the mail shortly after.

The rest is up to you.

Further information might be found in this link, however:

http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.aspx?FN=wow-general&T=8466071&P=1

Q: Why are the Scourge invading these regions?

A: As it is, these six places they are targeting are key points of Magical Power. Further, they are attacking the two ‘Human’ cities; Stormwind and Undercity.

The reason for these things is obvious.

Undercity and Stormwind are being attacked because in both places the Lich King will gather a great many new ‘recruits’ for his army, either by reanimation… or renewed domination…

Azshara is a center of magical power, and not even we have discovered all its secrets yet. Controlling it would give their Liches something to do and more magical abilities to command.

In the Tanaris Desert, two things are located; The Caverns of Time and Uldum. One is the nesting ground and passage into the Timestream used by the Bronze Dragons, the other is the location where the Titans used their power to manipulate the very face of Azeroth to their whim. If the Scourge took control of either location, the effects would be dramatic and horrifying. Further, cutting off Goblin access destroys trade, which is something we need… and the Scourge does not.

In the Burning Steppes, there is the already troubled war between the Blackrock and the Dark Iron. Plenty of bodies to reap from the fallen. Further, there is access to the Dragon Eggs and Dragon Whelps that the Scourge is making use of and transforming into a new generation of different Undead Dragons.

In Winterspring, they have another Goblin city to shut down. But, moreover, they have access to the ghosts of the Highborn they can bring under their control. Also, secrets lie underneath Winterspring, including the former Prison of Illidan. Further… it is a perfect front for them to assault the last true bastion of the Burning Legion on this world; Mount Hyjal.

In the Blasted Lands… there is the Dark Portal. Need I say more?

In the Eastern Plaguelands, the two factions who truly oppose them beyond we Adventurers of the alliance and horde currently fight against them. The Scarlet Crusade and the Argent Dawn. This is the ‘front’, and should it fall, the rest will have no buffer point and Undercity itself will be next as the Crusade and the Dawn are crushed should the Scourge win.

Hunter Epic Quest Walkthrough Map And FAQ (Warcraft 3 cd key)

The Beginning
———————-
– You must recieve the Ancient Petrified Leaf from Majordomo Executus’ cache. He is the second to last boss in MC. The droprate postpatch is now 50%, the other quest starter drop being the priest epic starter.

- You must also recieve the Mature Black Sinew from Onyxia. The droprate varies, some report it dropping about 20%, others report 2%…

- *OPTIONAL* If you want the epic quiver (18 slots, 15% increased ranged attack speed), you must either down Azuregoes (100% drop) or farm the blue elite dragons in Winterspring (about a .1% droprate).

- After recieving the Ancient Petrified Leaf, you then travel to tallest hill in the center of Irontree Woods located in Felwood. Three Ancients will appear, each of them holds a quest to the Hunter epic quest.

General Information
——————————
– You MUST do this alone, that means no pets, no totems, nothing
– You can get buffed, healed, ressed, etc BEFORE you start the encounter with each demon.
– You CAN be in a party, just not in a raid (make sure! or else you wont be able to loot the head).
– Having auras from other members of the party of any kind is usable, but highly not recommended, if you go out and in of the aura’s range, they may be put on the demon’s aggro list and the demon may despawn.
– Each demon has about a 3-4 hour respawn time, and once spawned, it stays only spawned for about 20 minutes.
– Any class other then a hunter that goes within range of the demon’s aggro, will get blasted for a 5-10k AOE.
– You do NOT have to respec for the fights, but having certain talents will make it much easier.
– If you feel that you messed up or will not win the fight, FEIGN DEATH, it rarely resists against these demons.
– To make fights the easiest, get a full group that comprises of a mage (for AI), priest (for fort and resses), druid (for mark), and a warrior(for clearing).
– Use Rank 1 Arcane shot to keep all the demons tagged. If you have the PvP set gloves, use those, they will reduce the arcane shot mana cost by 25, thus making each rank 1 shot 9 mana.
– If you do not tap the demon every 12 seconds or so, it will get "bored," deaggro, and run back to the start.
– Some helpful buffs are recommended on all the demons, which include Fortitude, Arcane Intellect, Mark of the Wild, and a Demonslaying Potion.

ALSO NOTE THAT THIS guide CONTAINS SPOILERS ON THE ENCOUNTERS. IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO HAVE YOUR EXPERIENCE SPOILERED DO NOT READ PAST THIS! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Winterspring – Artorius the Doombringer
——————————————————

Video:
http://www.warcraftmovies.com/movieview.php?id=5260

Where?-
– North of Winterspring

Winterspring Demon Map:

ConsumablesBuffs Used-
– Aspect of the cheetah (self)

Info-
– Stacked rank 8 serpent sting does massive amounts of damage to this demon.
– You must stay outside of 30 yards of him or he will give you a debuff that does 700 dmg enraged and about 150 calmed.
– Having 3 points into Hawk eye will make this encounter much easier.
– Tranq shot will calm him – but should not be ever needed if stayed outside of range.

Strategies-
– Once you are ready, dont bother starting out with an aimed shot or trap, you need to conserve as much mana as possible for serpent stings.
– Have ALL your party members follow infront of you on their mounts to train ALL the mobs that you may run into.
– Use rank 1 arcane shot to keep him tapped every 7 seconds.
– Every 4-5 seconds, apply a new serpent sting on him, it will stack damage.
– Using Aspect of the Cheetah to kite him. You will keep running non-stop, using jumpshot will actually make you get out of range, if so, stop, turn around and arcane shot him then serpent sting him.
– You will have to kite him from the top of Winterspring until near the town of Everlook. Thus, having party members train all the mobs infront of you will make this very easy.
– If you stay outside of range the whole time, you will never get debuffed or ever need to use tranq shot. Just keep running and applying serpent stingarcane shot.

Burning Steppes – Klinfran the Crazed
————————————————-

Video:
http://www.warcraftmovies.com/movieview.php?id=5273

Where?-
– West of Burning Steppes

Burning Steppes Demon Map:

ConsumablesBuffs Used-
– Aspect of the monkey (self)

Info-
– In enraged mode, this demon does over 2000 damage.
– Using Scorpid Sting will reduce the demon’s damage 350%, thus doing 1 damage.
– Everytime he enrages, he gets rid of all of his debuffs.
– If you scattershot him and he is enraged or gets enraged while dazed from the scattershot, DO NOT shoot the scorpid sting until he is undazed. If you shoot a scorpid sting while he is scattershotted, it will do NOTHING.

Strategies-
– Start out laying down a frost trap to slow the demon down, aimed shot him, and keep moving backwards until he turns red (enrages).
– Every time he turns red, shoot a scorpid sting at him.
– Once he calms down after a scorpid sting, (VERY IMPORTANT) run in and melee him, do not waste mana on raptor strikes or mongoose bites.
– When I used the Barbarous Blade, after 3 hits, use RANK 1 wing clip to wingclip him, and STRAFE sideways away from him (if you are faced opposite of him, he has a chance of snaring you).
– If you are having troubles using rank 1 wingclip and getting far enough, you can use rank 3 wingclip, but be sure to get some night dragons and mana pots and use them everytime the timer is up.
– Keep running and use rank 1 arcane shot to keep him tapped until he enrages again, rince and repeat. This fight can take from 7-10 minutes.

Un’Goro – Simone the Seductress
———————————————-

Video:
http://www.warcraftmovies.com/movieview.php?id=5281

Where?-
– South of Un’goro

Un’Goro Demon Map:

ConsumablesBuffs Used-
– Aspect of the Wild (From another hunter)
– Aspect of the Monkey (self)
– Nature Protection Potion
– Goblin Rocket Helmet (engineering)
– Greater Mana Potion

Info-
– Casts an ability called Temptress’ Kiss which reduces range attack power by 1400 for 45 seconds.
– Casts a Lightning spell which does around 800 damage, but only around 200 with Aspect of the Wild.
– Viper sting will silence this demon.
– She hits softly, but her pet hits for about 200 damage.

Strategies-
– This can be a semi-difficult fight or a really easy one, depending on how you are specced and if you have a Goblin Rocket Helmet.
– I recommend having another hunter in your group with Aspect of the Wild on, and that you would use Aspect of the Monkey.

–Drink a Nature Protection Potion prior to the fight.
–Start by laying a Freezing Trap, Hunter’s Mark, Aimed shot on Simone, then immediately concussive shot
–Have the pet get trapped, shoot a serpent sting at her, and immediately run in and go all out melee.
–Once the pet is out of the trap, use your helmet on it.
–Once the pet is out of the disorient, pop detterence to dodge them.
–Scattershot her whenever you see her start to cast the lightning bolt.
–Continue to melee her, she will go down really fast.

-If you don’t have a Goblin Rocket Helmet, be stocked on tubers, night dragon’s breath, and healing potions.
-I don’t recommend trying to run around and kite the demon and her pet, its much easier to take it and go all out in melee range.

Silithus – Solenar the Slayer
————————————-

Video:
http://www.warcraftmovies.com/movieview.php?id=5283

Where?-
-Mid-west of Silithus

Silithus Demon Map:

ConsumablesBuffs Used-
– Thorns (Druid)
– Shadow Protection (priest)
– Aspect of the Hawk (self)
– 2x Greater Shadow Protection Potion
– 2x Whipper Tubers
– 2x Night Dragon’s Breath
– ~5x Heavy Dynamites (either engineering or ez-throw)

Info-
– Casts a ~700 damage fear every 10 seconds or so. The damage is always done, but the fear can be resisted through Shadow Resistence.
– Will spawn about 3 bugs that are stacked on top of each other that do 150-250 damage a hit.
– With rank 3 Wing clip, it will give him a "crippling" effect and will be immobolized for about 10-15 seconds.
– Will cast fears only when immobolized.
– He melees for about 200-300 damage, but will miss a lot.
– Higher shadow resistance will greatly improve your chances of resisting the fear. Have a priest buff you with Shadow Protection.

Strategies-

Macros used:
Wingclip-
/target solenar
/cast Wing Clip(Rank 3)

Arcane Shot-
/target Solenor
/cast Arcane Shot(Rank 1)

Serpent Sting-
/target Solenar
/cast Serpent Sting(Rank 8)

Multishot creepings-
/target creeping
/cast Multi-Shot(Rank 1)

- Start out with a Frost Trap, shoot him, and he should turn from red to normal color after he goes over the trap. The trap chills him, and only has to be done the first time you spawn him. Immediately feign death to reset him.
– Drink a Greater Shadow protection potion and wait for the cooldown. This will absorb the shadow fear damage.
– Lay down an explosive trap, hunter’s mark him, and drink up for mana.
– Aim shot him, and as soon as he is over your explosive trap, wingclip him to immobolize him into place.
– For the next 15 or so seconds, you should be uninterupted by the bugs, as they will die with the explosive trap AoE effect. After the first fear, cast Rapid Fire to unload onto Solenar while his creeps are getting burned up by the explosive trap.
– Apply serpent sting everytime it runs out, and rank 1 arcane shot everytime after you get feared.
– When you accumalate a lot of bugs, use RANK 1 Volley to kill them. If your volley isn’t up, use a dynamite.
– Whenever you get a chance, hit the multi-shot creeping macro to take out a group of creepings.
– After you arcane shot Solenar, keep autoshooting him until the next fear.
– Once your TuberDragon’s Breath timers are up, use them immediately.
– Once your Greater Shadow Protection buff is up, use the 2nd one immediately to absorb as much fear damage as possible.

Get Past Battleground Fences Before It Starts (Leroy jenkins World of Warcraft)

A little fun with model editing.
USE AT YOUR OWN RISK

* 1. Launch MyWacraftStudio.

* 2. Open Patch.mpq.

* 3. Navigate to world/wmo/PVP/fence.

* 4. Extract these to your desktop.
The correct directory structure should be like this: world/wmo/PVP/fence . If you have to, you can create it yourself.

* 5. Open wmo.mpq . Find a small .wmo file and extract it to the same folder as above. Once you have extracted it, you need to rename it as follows:

alliance fence – ArathiallianceFence.wmo

horde fence – ArathihordeFence.wmo

The files with 000 in them, delete!

* 7. You should now have something like this: world/wmo/PVP/fence and 2 files in that directory. Now, just move the whole World directory to your World of warcraft/data folder.

* 8. Log on and enjoy.

500 gold in 2 days with Skinning (World of Warcraft community site)

Angerclaw Maulers
Felwood, X37, Y44.

I’ve posted about this spot before awhile back but I’m taking it upon myself to do so again because I have made a sickly amount of gold here latley, and a very disturbing amount in the past 2 weeks.

As a 60 Rogue in full epic gear(bloodfang) I can kill these in about 7 seconds each, literally. The respawn rate is insanely fast, When you kill the whole spawn camp of them which is about 11-12 and take a 1 minute break you’ll start having respawns to kill.

Where does the money come from you ask?

Firstly you have some stackable gray items that are very commonly dropped:

Large Bear Bone(Non-Stackable) – 14s 84c each
Bear Jaw(Stackable) – 8s 98c — 89s 80c per Stack of 10.
Savage Bear Claw(Stackable) – 5s 78c — 57s 80c per Stack of 10.
Bear Flank(Stackable) – 5s 78c — 57s 80c per Stack of 10.
Wicked Claw(Stackable) – 5s — 25s per Stack of 5.

I make anywhere from 9 to 13g in gray items per hour here.

Even without the skinning compared to most places this is a great camp for gold/hr. But skinning is where a lot of the money to come from if you want the results like I get.

You can skin Rugged and Thick leather off of these. My server prices are 2.50g per stack of Rugged and 1.50g per stack of Thick. Server prices are going to range, The intake of gold on this obviously is based only on my servers prices, But you will still make amazing gold here if you put the time in.

So where does all the money come from?
I take 8 hours a day and I run it here, Straight. Not every day, Usually in the evenings and into the late hours on the nights I’m not raiding and ocasionally if there is a third day I’ll get up around 7am to start and I can be done around mid afternoon so I can enjoy the day or do something else in game.

A single hour run brings on brings me in 6 Stacks of Rugged Leather and 5 stacks of Thick Leather. I don’t know if it’s because my kill rate is fast or just pure luck, But I can’t remember when I have come away from this with less leather then that in an hours run.

6x 2.50g = 15g per hour
5x 1.50g = 7.5g per hour

If I average out my usual grey items income per hour then I come away with 10.5g per hour. I’m going to edit this tomorrow and record all of my drops and leather intake from my 8 hours, But this is accurate. I’ve been making money like this for months now.

Now, On to the juicy part…

Intake per hour based on Leather sales on the AH is 22.50g Per HOUR.

Intake per hour based on sellable greys averages out at about 10.50g

33 gold per hour.
Wipe the drool off keyboard and keep reading :P

I run this 8 hours per day, Two days a week. Sometimes 3 but rarely. Skinning is obviously required to get the bigger chuck of change for your time. Some of you all day BG’ers could make litterally thousands of gold here in a week if you took a week off from all day long BG and went here, Just a thought. And I’m not exaggerating. Thousands.

I try to run these 2 days back to back and I generally refuse to put up my auctions and vendor until I have my 16 hours worth of loot. I just throw it all in the bank.

At the end of my 2 days I usually end up taking 510g – 545g out of my mailbox. +- a few gold for randomness of drops.

I have over 5000g in my bag right now. If you want an exact number then it’s 5649g.
All of that gold was made in this spot except about 600g.

Maybe some of you should thinking of switching professions :P

Enchanting 1-300 (World of Warcraft burning crusade)

This guide will show you how to get your enchanting skill up from 0 to 300. The guide will only use recipe’s available at a trainer until 265 and vendor available recipe’s from 265 to 300.

This guide only uses recipes that require components aquired through disenchanting. Shards will be avoided as much as possible, since they are difficult to get.

This guide does not tell you how to get all the different recipe’s from quests, vendors or drops. What you do once you hit 300 is entirely up to you.

This guide is primarily aimed at those who want to switch profession at high level or have high level alts, friends or guildmembers.

Preparation
You are going to need a lot of dust, essences and some shards. Create two alt storage characters, level one of the storage characters up to 5, so she can become an enchanter and send green items to her for disenchanting. Send green items to the other storage character. Since disenchanting will also give a skill point, these green items will be used to disenchant later. Use the ingame mail system to send everything to the storage characters. Don’t forget to send some gold to the storage characters, so they can send everything back.

Ofcourse you want to know at which level a green item gives what. Below is a list taken from Jaywu’s Enchanting FAQ.

Dust and Essence:
Generally the dust is from armor and the essence is from weapons, though it can randomly be anything.

Level 01-10: A little strange dust/lesser magic essence.
Level 11-15: Much strange dust/greater magic essence.
Level 16-20: Much strange dust/lesser astral essence.
Level 21-25: Little soul dust/greater astral essence.
Level 26-30: Much soul dust/lesser mystic essence.
Level 31-35: Little vision dust/greater mystic essence.
Level 36-40: Much vision dust/lesser nether essence.
Level 41-45: Little dream dust/greater nether essence.
Level 46-50: Much dream dust/lesser eternal essence.
Level 51-55: Little illusion dust/greater eternal essence.
Level 56-60: Much illusion dust/greater eternal essence.

Shards:
Shards come from blue or purple items (they can come from greens, but don’t count on it).

Level 01-20: Small glimmering.
Level 21-25: Large glimmering.
Level 26-30: Small glowing.
Level 31-35: Large glowing.
Level 36-40: Small radiant.
Level 41-45: Large radiant.
Level 46-50: Small brilliant.
Level 51-60: Large brilliant.

Once you have all the components collected everything has to be send back to your main character. The mailbox only shows the first 50 items you have in the mail. It also puts the last item send to you on top. So to avoid complications send the components you need first last: i.e. the green items to disenchant are needed first, so these are the last to be send back to your main, after strange dust and magic essences, which are needed next, and the other dusts and essences.

To learn recipe’s from a trainer costs gold. The amount of gold needed is aproximately 20 to 25 gold if you disenchant all of the dust, essences and shards. If you want to buy everything you need from the auction house expect to spend upwards to 1000 gold (including the arcanite rod). This does not include gold for recipe’s from vendors or the auction house.

To enchant something requires runed rods, such as a runed silver rod. To make those runed rods you need normal rods. For example; to make a runed silver rod you need a silver rod. The following rods are needed; copper rod, silver rod, golden rod, truesilver rod and arcanite rod. The copper rod is sold by vendors and the other rods are made by blacksmiths. Find a blacksmith who can make the rods for you or check the auction house and get them. The arcanite rod is expensive. Making a runed arcanite rod is also expensive. Since it is not needed for this guide, but only for the highlevel enchants, you may want to postpone getting one if you are strapped for gold.

Below is a table that shows the amount of dust, essences and shards needed. The minimum amount column shows the minimum amount needed if you would get a skill point every time you enchant something. However at some point a recipe will be yellow or even green when you enchant something so you won’t allways get a skill point. The estimated amount column deals with this, so try to get the estimated amount of dust, essences and shards on your storage character. The numbers in the estimated amount column are rounded up to full stacks of whatever the component stacks up to. The numbers in the table do not take into account the disenchanting of items to get the first skill points. If you buy everything you need from the auction house i suggest getting the minimum amount and only buy more when needed.

Component Minimum Amount Estimated Amount
Strange Dust 153 (16 stacks) 180 (18 stacks)
Soul Dust 75 (8 stacks) 90 (9 stacks)

Getting from 1 to 50
Earlier I wrote that you need runed rods to enchant something. The first rod needed is the runed copper rod. So make a runed copper rod to get your first skill point.

Disenchanting items will get you a skill point. Send the green items you stored on a storage character to your main and disenchant them.

If you were not able to reach 50 with disenchanting, enchant a bracer with minor health to get to skill 50. You can enchant the same bracer over and over again. An annoying window will pop up each time asking if you are sure to overwrite the existing enchant. Just click yes to do so.

Once you hit 50 talk to the appropriate trainer to become Journeyman Enchanter. You have to be level 10 to become Journeyman Enchanter.

This table shows the different recipes used to get from 0 to 50.

Skill Yellow Grey Item Components From – To Components needed
1 5 10 Runed Copper Rod 1x Copper Rod,
1x Strange Dust,
1x Lesser Magic Essence 0 – 1 (1) 1x Copper Rod,
1x Strange Dust,
1x Lesser Magic Essence
1 70 110 Enchant Bracer – Minor Health 1x Strange Dust
Required:
Runed Copper Rod 2 – 50 (49) 49x Strange Dust

Getting from 50 to 125
Enchant the bracer some more with minor health to get to 75. Now enchant the bracer with minor deflection to get to 85.

Enchant a bracer with minor stamina to get to 100.

At 100 you can make a runed silver rod, which you need later on, so make one now and get a skill point.

Enchant the bracer some more with minor stamina to get to 105, a bracer with minor agility to get to 120 and a shield with minor stamina to get to 125.

Once you hit 125 talk to the appropriate trainer to become Expert Enchanter. You have to be level 20 to become Expert Enchanter.

This table shows the different recipes used to get from 50 to 125.

Getting from 125 to 225
Enchant the shield some more with minor stamina to get to 130. Enchant a bracer with lesser stamina to get to 150.

At 150 you can make a runed golden rod, which you need later on, so make one now and get a skill point.

Enchant a bracer with lesser stamina to get to 160. Enchant a shield with lesser stamina or boots with lesser agility to get to 165. Enchant a bracer with spirit to get to 185 and a bracer with strength to get to 200.

Allthough you can become artisan enchanter once you hit 200 it is better to max to 225 first, since the trainer for artisan enchanter is inside an instance. I will get back on this in the next chapter. You have to be level 35 to become Artisan Enchanter.

At 200 you can make a runed truesilver rod, which you need later on, so make one now and get a skill point.

Enchant a bracer with strength some more to get to 205 and a cloak with greater defense to get to 225.

This table shows the different recipes used to get from 125 to 225.

Getting from 225 to 265
At 225 you have to become artisan enchanter to get any further. The master enchanter that teaches artisan enchanting is inside Uldaman. The highest level recipe she trains needs 250 skill, so you want to bring enough material to get to 250.

The table below shows the components needed to get from 225 to 250, so bring these with you when going the the master enchanter in Uldaman. You will need the runed truesilver rod made earlier as well. You will also need gloves, bracers and a chest item to enchant, but you are probably wearing those, so that shouldn’t be a problem.

Component Minimum Amount Estimated Amount
Vision Dust 70 (7 stacks) 90 (9 stacks)
Dream Dust 10 (1 stacks) 20 (2 stacks)
Lesser Nether Essence 10 (1 stacks) 20 (2 stacks)
Greater Nether Essence 5 (1 stacks) 10 (1 stacks)
Runed Truesilver Rod 1 1

Once you reach the trainer talk to her to become artisan enchanter. Once you’re artisan enchanter enchant gloves with agility to get to 235, a chest item with superior health to get to 245 and a bracer with greater strength to get to 250. Once you have trained all the recipe’s she can train you, you can leave the instance.

Enchant the bracer some more with greater strength to get to 265.

Allthough you can get to 270 before the last recipe you train from a trainer becomes yellow, I am not going to use that recipe since it requires wildvine. Wildvine is a herb and can not be aquired through disenchanting. The recipe also uses shards and i want to minimize the use of shards as much as possible. Vendor available recipe’s are going to be used to get to 300.

This table shows the different recipes used to get from 225 to 265.

Skill Yellow Grey Item Components From – To Components needed
210 230 270 Enchant Gloves – Agility 1x Lesser Nether Essence,
1x Vision Dust
Required:
Runed Truesilver Rod 225 – 235 (10) 10x Lesser Nether Essence,
10x Vision Dust
220 240 280 Enchant Chest – Superior Health 6x Vision Dust
Required:
Runed Truesilver Rod 235 – 245 (10) 60x Vision Dust
240 260 300 Enchant Bracer – Greater Strength 2x Dream Dust,
1x Greater Nether Essence
Required:
Runed Truesilver Rod 245 – 265 (20) 40x Dream Dust,
20x Greater Nether Essence

Getting from 265 to 300
Get the enchant shield – greater stamina recipe from Mythrin’dir in Darnassus or Daniel Bartlett in Undercity and enchant a shield with greater stamina to get to 290. The recipe is bind on pickup when bought so make sure you buy it yourself and not an alt, friend or guildmember.

At 290 you can make a runed arcanite rod, allthough you don’t need one to get to 300, you are going to need one in your enchanting career anyway, so make one now and get a skill point. You can get the runed arcanite rod recipe from Lorelae Wintersong in Moonglade.

Get the enchant cloak – superior defense from Lorelae Wintersong in Moonglade and enchant a cloak with superior defense to get to 300.

Congratulations, you now have 300 skill in enchanting.

This table shows the different recipes used to get from 265 to 300.

Skill Yellow Grey Item Components From – To Components needed
265 285 325 Enchant Shield – Greater Stamina 10x Dream Dust
Required:
Runed Truesilver Rod 265 – 290 (25) 250x Dream Dust

Stonescale Eel + Fish Bot = GOLD (WoW open beta)

1. Basics
————————–
Who?: You and the Buyer
What?: Fishing stonescale eel for money
When?: Real time, or even while your sleeping.
Where?: Azshara, Tanaris, or Feralas (Feralas is only for emergancy =p)
Why?: FOR MONEY!

2. What do I need?
—————————
i. It’s required that you have a HIGH level of fishing, probably 225 or above. Having a high fishing level helps you fish faster, and more efficiently.
ii. A fishing pole would also help, Im using a "Big Iron Fishing Pole" (http://www.thottbot.com/?i=2950). This is VERY handy, but is a rare find.
iii. A safe spot to fish, also hidden. This helps when your either on a PVP server, or if you just flat out don’t want to be seen when using the Fishing Bot.
iv. And the fishing bot, which can be found under (on the left) – Quick-Strat Forums < Hot Strategies < wow Stratagies < Quiet Knight’s Fishbot.

3. How much do they sell for?
—————————-
i. For a stack, I can usually get 8-10g. A stack consists of 20 Stonescale eel, and per-night I was coming up with 3-5 stacks.

4. Why do they sell for so much??
—————————–
i. The reason these Stonescale Eel sell for so much money, is because they make REALLY nice potions. These potions are called "Greater Stoneshield Potion". These raise a person’s armor by 2000 for 2 minutes. That’s like holding a shield for 2 minutes with the use of a potion. (http://www.thottbot.com/?i=23418) – These sell for 3g EACH on my server … (Cenarius, maybe because we’re so gready )

5. Easy things to make money even faster.
—————————–
i. Try to sell them through the "Trade" channle of your City/Zone. And tell them to "PST" to make that money on-site.
ii. Try to sell the fish for less then the AH, and TELL your buyer this, he/she will be persuaded even more towards your offer because of time and money saving.
iii. Sell at peak-hour times on your server, this should probably be 5-7 O’clock PM. This should be because people are getting back from work, and it’s before dinner.

I hope that this doesn’t spoil my chance for making ALOT of money =p, but I want the game to be "equal" ; ) – and every1 should have the same opprotunity.

Leveling The GRINDING Guide 21-43 XPLoot (Leeroy jenkins World of Warcraft)

the
GRINDING
guide

Hi Guys and Gals, this is my first guide of hopefully many more,(I know the info here might be of no use to you whatsoever, but hey if u find it not worth your time to find out this info…Dont read it!)and its on grinding for newer-semi veteran players. My hopes are that you get a general idea of how grinding works in wow, and maybe some new places that you might never have thought of to grind…

Grinding has been one of the most effective, and most hated ways to level since the beginning of the MMO franchise. Grinding is simply leveling off of experience gained by killing a certain mob repeatedly. Heres my theory of grinding for noobs/semi-noobs:

Tips::
-Stock up on the highest water/food you can get…you will spend hours grinding..no use if u die alot…keep your health/mana up!

-Resupply your arrows/knives/bullets and fix your equipment…

-For Hunters: A useful tool that i have found is a macro that lets you autotarget the nearest enemy and cast Hunter’s Mark.
###############################################
/script TargetNearestEnemy();
/cast Hunter’s Mark(Rank #)
###############################################
(*where # is you fill in your highest rank HM)

-Effective grinding comes in three parts:

1) Knowing the mob you are killing and learning its(their) average stats. Know the mob type, whether it is a land, sea, air or combo creature, the average damage it does, if it has high or low resistances, and is it a spellcaster/healer. These stats will determine a good grinding mob from a bad one.

2) Know your stats/role. This is important in any aspect of this game, KNOW WHAT YOU ARE. If you are a hunter dont be a brave one and try to melee your way, or if you’re a rogue dont try to throw knives at distance. Know your strenghts and use them for your advantage, thats why they are strenghts. In case you dont know what you should do here’s a quick list of what each class is good at(*Doesn’t mean they are best at it, just good enough to grind with):

########CLASS ROLES###################
Mage-Long Range DPS, you are a Bad A$$ DPS at long range…Short Range or Melee almost always weakens your full potential. Keep a distance (15-20 ft) and you will kill fast and effectively.

Hunter- Long Range DPS, Pretty good at grinding, got a number of tools to expend at your will…use them, also a key point to effective hunter grinding is button setup, you need something that works for quick shot acess and melee(For the times you aggro instead of your pet)

Rogue-Melee DPS, you put out what is commonly known as High Burst DPS. This means you are super efficient at killing at very close range, but when you get out of range you are vulnerable. Stay Close, Stealth, and Control your Aggro.

Paladin-Gah Pallies…I only know a few good ones…What they have in common is the ability to manage their blessings, melee and healing while not running out of mana…BROKEN CLASS FOR NOW…I wouldn’t suggesting grinding with pallies unless you got a pretty good and fast wep…

Shaman-JOAT-MON (Jack of All Trades-Master of None) Shammys are special in that they can do just about everything in the book…With amazing close range dps, long range spells, insta-cast shocks, healing, totems, and mail (After 40) Shamans are a resilient class that can take a beating and keep on steaming through mobs…Use your long range to get the mobs life down initially, then finish it off with up close punishment, mixing up your shocks in between swings, keep yourself alive by dropping totems…Very effective class to grind with, but somewhat boring…

Warrior- What can I say? Charge, Rend, Sunder, hit until dead…not much to say just keep your health up, and it would be good to stay in zerker stance to kill faster. You really dont have to worry about Big Damage mobs, so you can just kill and eat/drink/bandage yourself. Also very boring I find.

Druid- You are a JOAT-MON as well, but IMHO not as powerfully crafted as the Shammy…Still you can do a few things, cast long range spells, debuff, and spam MF or melee, or you could Transform into a different form and kill that way…Still your best bet is to stick with what you have been doin to kill the past 30 lvls for effectiveness…

Priest- Gah…another funny class that is hard to grind let alone solo with…best bet is to get a place where mobs are green but not too low and grind there, or better yet get off your arse and spam chat for a party and go quest…Priests really only excel in group management, they are a support class, using debuffs/fear/and healing to keep their party thriving through the worst that the wow has to offer…
#######################################
(These are basic functions of each class, I would love for anyone who has another way to effectively grind with each class to post it on my thread…)

3. Know when to hold and when to fold. This means to know when to stay for the grind or get out and quest, But also means to know when to switch grind spots…Grinding is not always the most effective way of leveling, but it can be in some cases (i.e. When you dont have a party, and the quests you have are a little tough to do solo; When you feel like taking a break from questing [not very often]). In the cases where the grind is good, go for it, but know what, where, who, and why you are grinding.

BASICALLY:
Grinding is an alternate way aside questing to get xp at a fast rate. If you grind I suggest that you get a comfortable chair, get some good music/tv shows/movies, Find your spot, and work away. you only get out what you put in, so dont sit around waiting for a heavenly signal to start grinding…Get out there and do it.

My List of Places I went to Grind (*NOTE: I didn’t start grinding until 23-24 as up until then questing is much more efficient than any mob you can kill at your level, because of this I wouldn’t suggest grinding until you are at least 20):

*XP-Experience *XPR-Experience when Rested *GPH-gold per hour(Fluxuates depending on mob droprate)

23-25:
Ashenvale
Mobs:Bears and Spiders
Note: The spiders of Ashenvale are some of the most effective means of getting loot at low lvl while grinding, the bears have good xp and are fairly easily handled.
XP: 120-220
XPR: 230-345
GPH: high-2g low-30s avg-1.34g

26-27:
Wetlands
Mobs: Crocolisk Family, Raptors, oozes(With a Partner)
Note: Crocs have a quest chain that is fairly simple to complete, Raptors drop good and are good for skinning, Oozes drop green items fairly often
XP: 160-230
XPR:300-360
GPH: high-3.4g low-1g avg-2.8g

28-30:
Darkshire
Mobs:Worgen and Ogres
Note: Worgen are skinnable, Ogres drop 1-2s a piece sometimes and a fair amount of greens.
XP: 190-240
XPR: 320-400
GPH: high-3.6g low-1.3g avg-2.4g

31-36
Stranglethorn Vale
Mobs: Tigers,Panthers,Raptors
Note: Do the Chain Quests given by the NPC’s at Nessingwary’s Expedition, Do the Kurzen Mystery chain up to going into the Kurzen Cave, Once 33 you can run through the Kurzen Camp slowly and get some relatively sellable loot. You can also switch between Panthers and Tigers w/o having to run too far(Killing one while other spawns). This is a goldmine if you get the Whiskers that the cats drop and the teeth that the raptors drop.
XP:200-270
XPR:350-420
GPH: high-4g low-2.1g avg-2.9g

36-43
Dreadmurk Shore(Theramore)
Mobs: Turtle family
Note: wow this is where I currently am, im getting great xp and loot, raking in close to 4g avg this is the ultimate grind spot, a friend of mine told me this is where the Pay for Play Powerlevelers go for levels 36-39, but I have been told that the loot is still good well after 40.
XP: 230-300
XPR: 400-445
GPH: high-4.4g low-2.6g avg-3.7g

This is it so far…When I get higher level I will test for more places to grind. The gold Per Hour Numbers are from me and a few other friends that have grinded in each of these places.

Oh BTW this is my first guide…I know you can probably find the same information posted already on the web or in this site, but I felt that if you skipped over the other ones you might find mine…So enjoi! Hunters FTW!!!

EDIT: Mages are good at AE spamming…This is a viable and efficient way to grind to date…But, who knows when blizz will pass the oh so important Nurf-Bat on to a new class…
