Darkmoon Faire

There is a gnoll npc in the Darkmoon Faire who gives out 'fortunes' after you answer 2 of his questions. These fortunes are in fact 2 hour buffs - and there are 9 of them to choose from if you answer questions with the right answers. After quite a bit of investigating here are the combinations:

Un'Goro Crystals

Pre-req Quest: Crstals of Power

Objective:
Collect 7 Power Crystals of each color: red, blue, yellow, and green. Bring them to J.D. Collie at Marshal's Refuge (middle of the north wall).

The crystals are a very common spawn in Un'Goro Crater especially round the edges and round trees.

Follow On Quests from J.D. Collie:
The Northern Pylon
The Eastern Pylon
The Western Pylon

Go to the pylons and click on them to read.
The Eastern Pylon 77,50
The Northern Pylon 56,12
The Western Pylon 23,59

Then go back to J.D. Collie, do the follow on quest Making Sense Of It (just keep talking to him) and he will give you an instruction book telling what crystal combinations to use in which pylons for what buffs.

Collect the coloured crystals - go to the correct pylon and you'll get 6 crystal items that give you buffs.

Northern Pylon

Crystal Charge (10 yellow + 10 red)
Use: Inflicts 383 to 517 fire damage to targets in a 3
yard radius.
Cooldown: 1 min

Crystal Restore (10 yellow + 10 green)
Use: Heals the target of 670 damage over 15 seconds.
Cooldown: 3 mins

Eastern Pylon

Crystal Force (10 blue + 10 green)
Use: Increases the target's Spirit by 30 for 30 minutes.
Cooldown: 10 mins

Crystal Spire (10 blue + 10 yellow)
Use: A crystal shield surrounds the friendly target,
doing 12 damage to anyone who hits her. Lasts 10
minutes.
Cooldown: 5 mins

Western Pylon

Crystal Ward (10 red + 10 green)
Use: Increases the target's Armor by 200 for 30 minutes.
Cooldown: 10 mins

Crystal Yield (10 red + 10 blue)
Use: Decreases an enemy target's Armor by -200 for 2
minutes.
Cooldown: 3 mins

The crystals above are also used in some of the Libram enchants…..

These Librams give you an enchantment to two slots that are not normally enchantable… Head & Legs.
As per usual these enchantments don't stack with other things like armour kits on legs.

Libram of Rapidity
Hand in: Lorekeeper Lydros - Dire Maul
Reward: +1% haste to attacks (ranged/melee)
1 Pristine Black Diamond
2 Large Brilliant Shards
2 Blood of Heroes (ground spawn in WPL/EPL, spawns 1-2 60 elite ghosts)

From a quick glance it looks to me that the Dire Maul quests just aren't worth it, not unless you know where to farm Pristine Black Diamonds (and if you do know… SHARE THE INFO DAMMIT )

You get given a lantern to help with the second part.

There are different ways to get the hand in items for the second part… I chose hunting to make life easy and just farmed the Deadwood guys in the bottom SW corner of Felwood (also good for Timbermaw rep).

Then you have to find the plant and use 3 salve on it… then just pick up the item from the now uncorrupted plant (I got 9 Whipping Root Tubers than 8 tubers from the plant in the Jadefire Felsworn / Satyr camp west of the Emerald Sanctuary).
